Cover Star Contest:
The Cover Star contest is an exclusive opportunity to earn a separate title and earn
valuable prizes! Contestant that sells the most ads will win this contest. Friends,
families and local businesses are great targets for the program book ad sales. Don’t
forget the relatives who live far away and can not make it to the pageant.
OPTIONAL CONTESTS
Optional contests allow additional opportunities for contestants to expose their
talents while increasing their chances to win cool prizes! For an additional $25 fee
per entry, all contestants are eligible to join any of the following contests.

*Talent:
Do you sing, dance, play an instrument or recite poetry?
Demonstrate these or other talents in the Talent Contest.
*Runway:
Can you walk the walk? Move over Tyra, here comes our
lucky star…Join the Runway Contest.
*Photogenic:
Love taking pictures and on top of that look great in all of
them? Then you MUST join the Photogenic Contest.
*Fashion Designer:
Get those creative juices flowing and design a tote bag
(provided by Miss Lucky Star Pageant). Most fun & creative
design will win this contest. All totes will be donated to the
Care Bags Foundation.

Interview:
Interviews will allow the judges to get to know each contestant individually.
Contestants will display their true personality by speaking one-on-one with the
judges. This competition will assist with valuable interviewing skills such as eye
contact and posture.
Community Service:
By donating a children’s book or stuffed animal, contestants will have already gained
10% of their final score. The Community Service project allows the contestants to
get involved and give back to the community. This portion of the competition will let
contestants walk away with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
